MAT – Start practicing with previous year question papers

MAT or Management Aptitude Test is organized way AIMATS (All India Management Aptitude Testing Service), New Delhi. It is held quarterly in January, May, September, and December months every year. It was first conducted in 1988 for taking admission in top management schools. This is a national level entrance exam opens gateway to top business schools. There are more than 160 MAT colleges in India. It means you have great chances of taking admission in top management school. You just have to be innovative and completely dedicated for MAT studies. Today, MAT exam form can be filled online and exam is also conducted online.

According to stats, paper based exam can be held at one time slot only. But computer based exam, can be held in more than three slots in a single day. It is also easy to check exam online and you can expect results quickly within few days of exam. The test will continue for several days as numbers of profiles are appearing for written exam. It does not mean you can appear for both paper based as well as computer based written exam. The eligibility criterion for MAT exam is not so tough. Any graduate student can apply for MAT entrance exam. Even if you are pursuing final year graduation program, you are eligible for MAT exam. However, your graduation percentage may affect your admission for different colleges after performing well in MAT exam.

 

Management Aptitude Test is a multiple choice objective paper divided in several domain like mathematical skills, Logical ability, data analysis, data sufficiency, English comprehensive skills, and general knowledge. The total dime duration for exam is 150 minutes. The good news is that there is no negative marking like CAT exam. This is the reason why it is slightly less complex as compared to CAT exam. The students preparing for CAT exam should also appear for Mat entrance test. In case, you are not able to get admission in CAT colleges then there is 90 percent chances of getting success in Mat exam.

 

Undoubtedly, you have to work hard to show your brilliance at MAT entrance exam. Also be regular and consistent to give your best shot at any entrance exam. It would be great if you can join some coaching program where you can clear your doubts immediately. Download previous year paper and start practicing at your home. When you are moving on with positive approach, success is not away from you.
